Telemarketing Lead Generation Specialist – Full Time

Asset Science is searching for a Telemarketing Lead Generation Specialist who will drive sales through outbound telephone and email contact, with a wide variety of sourced leads from which to identify, qualify and develop. We expect the ideal candidate to be outstanding, and to show us why he or she is an exceptional choice for this position.

Your Role

As Lead Generator, your role will focus on qualifying new customers for Asset Science products and services. You will also be following up on leads generated from marketing activities. You will develop prospects into candidates by effectively communicating Asset Science’s value proposition.

Responsibilities include calling business-to-business with the goal of presenting our products an setting up appointments for more in depth discussions. Also, responsible for responding to chat, email and phone inquiries, identifying and assessing prospect needs, lead quality and determining key decision makers.

The ideal candidate:

  • Two+ years of telemarketing and/or inside sales experience, preferably having worked in a large organization
  • Previous experience in qualifying and identifying prospects
  • Familiarity with factory or enterprise-grade products
  • Motivated by achieving and exceeding daily goals
  • Communicates any problems or obstacles to management while taking initiative to bringing prospects into the sales process
  • Provide timely reports on sales and financial data
  • Excellent time management and organization and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships
  • Personal integrity and commitment to achieve above expectations
  • A “can do” attitude

  • Qualify and identify prospects
  • Identify high potential prospects and transition qualified leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Office-based in Montreal or Waterloo
  • Utilize lead qualification process as well as document sales activities
  • Maintain daily and weekly reports for management on customer communication progress

Software Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM Software


  • The successful candidate would report to the Director of Sales. Other employees the Telemarketing Lead Qualifier can expect to work closely with are the other members of the sales team and the sales coordinator.
