Kodak Enters Smartphone Market With Ektra Camera Phone

Kodak has announced the new Kodak Ektra Smartphone, a smartphone designed for photographers, with a 21 megapixel sensor, f/2.0 lens, optical image stabilisation, 4K video recording, a physical shutter release button, and a camera grip on the left of the smartphone. The smartphone is being released with manual controls, numerous shooting modes, a virtual mode dial, along with a classic camera case. The Kodak Ektra will be availble from December with an RRP of £449 sim-free.

Kodak Eastman left the digital camera market in 2012, with JK Imaging re-introducing Kodak cameras in 2013, which now includes a range of Kodak PIXPRO cameras, including 360 Action cameras and a number of ultra zoom bridge cameras.
